Manu co-invested with Inventus since its inception in 2008, then joined the investment team in 2011.  He’s well respected in the consumer internet industry give accomplishments at Google on teh product teams for Gmail, Calendar, Doubleclick, OpenSocial, and Orkut.  After Google, Manu was on the senior team at startup LoLapps, and then VP of Products at NewsCorp’s Digital Division.   Manu started his career in product group at AHWY (IPO) and 123 Signup where he first worked with John & Kanwal who were Board members

Prior to joining Inventus full time, Manu informally helped diligence new investments and ultimately co-invested and advised many Inventus entrepreneurs; particularly at Vivu (ACQ: Polycom), Dhingana (ACQ:, Genwi (ACQ: Persistent), Poshmark and Credit Sesame.  Many currently leads Inventus’ investments in Activity Hero, Disco, FarFaria and NextForce.  He has also advised entrepreneurs in India (Games2Win, Sapplica and Popcorn Apps), Canada (j2play (ACQ: EA) and Social Game Universe) and Brasil (Mentez) and has been an instrumental leader in the formation of Startup Bridge India, connecting dozens of the most promising global startups coming out of India with corporate partners and investors across Silicon Valley.

Manu holds a B.S. from Boston University and a joint MBA from Columbia Business School and Walter Haas School of Business, Berkeley. He’s a TiE charter member actively mentoring entrepreneurs, and founded and leads Startup Bridge India – connecting India’s most promising new global product companies with corporate leaders across Silicon Valley.
